Desktop + Chrome — the setup we design and support for this SQL course.
A quick checklist so the SQL editor, labs, and layouts behave the way we intend—before you dive into the course.
We recommend a desktop or laptop computer for this SQL module. The practice editor, split layouts, and exercises are built for a comfortable keyboard and a wide viewport.
Tablets and phones are not recommended. You may be able to open the site, but coursework is not supported on small screens—you are more likely to hit cramped layouts and awkward editing.
Google Chrome is the recommended browser for the most reliable experience with this platform—fewer surprises with the editor, networking, and modern web APIs we rely on.
Keep Chrome updated. If something looks off, try a single Incognito window with extensions disabled before reporting a bug.
Performance and compatibility
If you use other browsers, tablets, phones, or unusual environments instead of our recommended desktop or laptop with Chrome, it may result in performance issues—such as slower loading, awkward layouts, or a less reliable code editor. Switching to the recommended setup usually gives the smoothest experience for this course.
